West Kent ARS is a regular entrant in the RSGB series of HF contests using members own calls and the club calls G3WKS and G1WKS/GX1WKS (or more regularly G3WKS/P and G1WKS/P).
In common with many amateur radio clubs, we are continually on the look out for more local operators whether experienced or new to contesting and looking to get started. In particular more Datamode (RTTY, PSK63) and CW skills are needed although more SSB operators would also be most welcome if we are to start to compete with the Contest Clubs.
Additional operators would help us improve our position substantially in the 80m CC and Autumn Series Contests where the number of entries greatly affects the aggregate score realised. More contest CW operators would allow us to field a team in National Field Day for the first time in a number of years.
